The following is my translation of a verse from ghazal no. 196 of Ḥáfiẓ. The translation follows an ABAB rhyme scheme and is set to iambic pentameter. See here for a Tablet that Baháʼuʼlláh revealed in response to a Baháʼí who had quoted this verse in his petition.
Regarding those who, with a single glance,
Can turn dust into gold through alchemy
Could from the corners of their eyes, perchance,
They deign to turn their sight and look at me?
