What follows is my provisional translation (in other words, not official or authorized; see here for more) of a passage from a Tablet of Baháʼuʼlláh, the original text of which is published in Mu’assisiy-i-Ayádíy-i-Amru’lláh, p. 12.
Lo, through His pervasive Will, He hath built the House of His Cause on the foundation of utterance and the basis of exposition, and fashioned for it protectors and guardians who keep it safe from every heedless traitor and foolish prattler. They deviate not from what God hath revealed in His Book, and speak only what He hath permitted them to say on the Day of Return. We bear witness that they are the Hands of His Cause among mankind and the Lamps of His guidance between earth and heaven. They stand before His door and turn away whosoever is unfit to cross His threshold. No God is there but Him, the Omniscient, the Ordainer, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.
A typescript of the original Arabic text of this passage appears below (all punctuation mine).
