What follows is my provisional translation (in other words, not official or authorized; see here for more) of a Tablet by ‘Abdu’l-Bahá. The original text has not been published; it was kindly provided to me by Roya Fallah.
He is God.
To Jináb-i-Áqá ‘Abdu’l-Ḥusayn, upon him be the glory of God
Jináb-i-Áqá ‘Alí-Akbar, upon him be the glory of God, is present and hath requested that this epistle be penned. Observe how greatly thou art loved by thy father and mother: under no circumstance nor for a single moment do they forget thee, and they supplicate unceasingly on thy behalf. I, too, have occupied myself at the Holy Shrine with prayers for thee, inasmuch as thy parents are well-pleased with thee. Consider what a blessing is the good-pleasure of one’s parents. Any soul whose parents are pleased with them, God is also pleased with them, and so shall other people be—that is to say, their heart is at rest, their soul is secure, their affairs are well-ordered, their future is bright, their good fortune doth aid them, and their worth is great. God willing, may the Almighty confirm thee, and may the heart and soul of thy father and mother be ever pleased with thee.
Upon thee be the glory of the All-Glorious.
