What follows is my provisional translation (in other words, not official or authorized; see here for more) of a Tablet of Baháʼuʼlláh, the original text of which appears in a collection of manuscripts held at the British Library (Or15699, p. 121).
He is the Hearer, the Answerer
O My handmaid! In this Day, every one of the handmaids of the earth who attaineth the greatest honor and the supreme bounty—which is the knowledge of God, exalted be His glory—is mentioned before God as an inmate of the highest paradise, and recorded in the Book as ranking among the sincerely devoted and near ones. Yield praise unto the Desire of the world that He hath confirmed thee, and that, in the estimation of God, thou art reckoned with the men of the Most Exalted Paradise.
Amín[1] hath arrived; he spoke extensively, before the Countenance of this Wronged One, of thee and thy Feast. This most sublime and most holy Tablet hath been sent down and transmitted from the heaven of divine Will, in order that thou mayest discover the fragrance of the radiant garment, and that, with the utmost joy and gladness, thou mightest occupy thyself with the remembrance and praise of the Beloved of the world.
We conclude this Tablet with the mention of the one named Muḥammad-Qulí, reminding him of Our signs and announcing unto him Our mercy, which hath encompassed all who dwell in heaven and on earth. May the resplendent glory shining from the horizon of the heaven of My bounty rest upon the people of Bahá, who have not broken the Covenant of God or violated His Testament—they who have arisen and declared, “God is our Lord and the Lord of the mighty Throne!”[2]
