What follows is my provisional translation (in other words, not official or authorized; see here for more) of a Tablet of Bahá’u’lláh, the original text of which has been published in Áthár-i-Qalam-i-A‘lá, vol. 3 (2006 ed.), p. 857 (selection no. 423) and Táríkh-i-Amríy-i-Hamadán, p. 199

Jináb-i-Ḥakím Áqá Ján[1]

He is the Most Holy, the Most Glorious

Thy letter hath been presented before this Wronged One in this Most Great Prison. The servant-in-attendance[2] read it aloud, and We respond to thee with this lucid Tablet.

God willing, through His bounty, thou mayest drink from the river of assurance and fix thy gaze upon the Most Exalted Horizon. The voice of the Burning Bush hath been lifted up and the splendor of Sinai made evident. The eye illumined with the collyrium of the knowledge of God shall behold His effulgences and discern the rays of the lights of His Countenance in all things. This is the day in which the eyes have been honored with witnessing the Beauty of the All-Glorious. No like for Him hath there been aforetime, and no peer shall there be henceforth. At all times must thou be engaged in praising the Chief Desire of all humanity, inasmuch as He hath graciously aided thee to hear His Word and assisted thee to recognize His Self, this at a time when most ears are deprived of the sweet voice of the All-Merciful and the majority of eyes are barred from seeing the lights of His Beauty. Treasure this bounty and account it as one exceedingly great.

Praised be God, thy letter arrived; a response to it descended from the heaven of divine bounty and was sent thereafter. The names thou hadst enumerated have been adorned with the ornament of His mention, and every one of them was remembered before the Divine Countenance.[3] Glory rest on thee; on thy brother, Ílíyá;[4] on thy kindred; on thy son, who hath been guided by the light of his Lord; and on them that have believed in God, the Incomparable, the All-Wise.

ه م [همدان]، جناب حکیم آقا جان

هو الاقدس الابهى

قَدْ حَضَرَ کِتَابُکَ لَدَى الْمَظْلُومِ فِى هَذَا السِّجْنِ الْاَعْظَمِ وَ قَرَأَهُ الْعَبْدُ الْحَاضِرِ وَ اَجَبْنَاکَ بِهَذَا الْکِتَابِ الْمُبِينِ.

ان شاء الله به عنايتِ الهى از کوثرِ اطمينان بياشامى و به افقِ اعلى ناظر باشى. نداىِ سدرۀ سينا بلند شد و تجلّىِ طور هويدا گشت. بصرى که از کحلِ معرفتِ الهى روشن شده تجلّياتِ او را مشاهده می‌نمايد و پرتوِ انوارِ وجه را در اشياء ملاحظه می‌کند. امروز روزيست که ابصار به مشاهدۀ جمالِ ذى الجلال فائز و مشرّف شده و از براىِ او شِبهى از قبل نبوده و نظيرى از بعد نخواهد بود. بايد در کلِّ احيان به ثناىِ مقصودِ عالميان مشغول باشى چه که ترا به اصغاءِ کلمه‌اش مؤيّد نمود و به عرفانِ نفسش موفّق فرمود در ايّامى که اکثرِ آذان از حلاوتِ نداىِ رحمن محرومست و اکثرِ ابصار از مشاهدۀ انوارِ جمال ممنوع. اين فضل را غنيمت دان و بزرگ شِمُر.

الحمد لله کتابت فائز و جوابِ آن از آسمانِ بخششِ يزدانى نازل و فرستاده شد. اسامىِ مذکوره به طرازِ ذکر مزيّن گشتند و هر يک تلقاءِ وجه مذکور آمدند. اَلْبَهَاءُ عَلَيْکَ وَ عَلَى اَخِيکَ الَّذِى سُمِّىَ بِاِيلِيَا وَ عَلَى اَهْلِک وِ ابْنِکَ الَّذِى اهْتَدَى بِنُورِ رَبِّهِ وَ عَلَی الَّذِينَ آمَنَواْ بِاللهِ الْفَرْدِ الْخَبِيرِ.
