What follows is my provisional translation (in other words, not official or authorized; see here for more) of a Tablet by Bahá’u’lláh to Mír ‘Abdu’r-Raḥím, an early believer who resided in the city of Qamṣar in Iran. The original text has not been published, but a facsimile of the original text held at the Baháʼí World Center Archives was kindly provided to me by Amir Vojdani, the great-great-grandson of Mír ‘Abdu’r-Raḥím.

Jináb-i-Mír ‘Abdu’r-Raḥím, upon him be the Glory of God
He is the Compassionate, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise
Praise be to the Best-Beloved of the world, for through His most exalted Word, He hath seized the essences of the peoples and illumined them with the lights of the Sun of Revelation. He hath attracted every believer to the Supreme Horizon, and He hath not deprived any seeker of the Choice Wine. Well is it with the one who hath arisen to serve and reached the living waters of steadfastness. This is the day of constancy and utterance. Beseech God, exalted be His glory, to bestow His special favor upon everyone and grant them their portion from the soft-flowing stream of assurance. Verily I say that this is the day in which anyone can attain the object of whatsoever he desireth.
O thou who hast quaffed from the chalice of My love! Strive that perchance the people in that land may reach such a station that neither the clamoring of the infidels nor the suggestions of the disbelievers will hinder them from the True One. The evil ones have been and are still lying in wait, scheming with all their might, and in the Name of God do they keep the people back from the Dayspring of Glory. Thus biddeth thee this Pen at the behest of God, the Ancient King, and heraldeth unto thee what hath been ordained for thee in His inaccessibly exalted Kingdom.
Convey My greetings to My loved ones who have renounced all else but Me and taken My Straight Path. Say: O people of Bahá! Render ye thanks, inasmuch as the Tongue of Grandeur hath mentioned you while He lay in the prison of the heedless. He hath appeared in truth and manifested what He willed as a token of His grace; He, verily, is the Almighty, the Most Powerful. Rejoice, O ‘Abdu’r-Raḥím, for the Countenance of the Best-Beloved hath turned unto thee and is making mention of thee with that which will remain for as long as My most excellent titles shall endure. Thy Lord is indeed the Ever-Forgiving, the Most Generous. He hath pardoned thee as a bounty on His part and revealed unto thee this sublime Tablet.
Glory rest upon thee, and also upon whosoever is with thee and hath believed in God, the Lord of all worlds.
