What follows is my provisional translation (in other words, not official or authorized; see here for more) of a passage from a Tablet of Bahá’u’lláh, the original text of which has been published in Áyát-i-Bayyinát, p. 280.
One’s property is transient, and one’s belongings evanescent; the ephemeral possessor perisheth, and the fleeting possession vanisheth. Enduring is the bounty of the True One, everlasting His loving-kindness, eternal His remembrance, perpetual His generosity, imperishable His signs, unfading His evidences. Blessed is the soul unhindered by the transitory things of this world.
