What follows is my provisional translation (in other words, not official or authorized; see here for more) of a prayer from ʻAbduʼl-Bahá, the original text of which is published in Majmúʻiy-i-Munáját: Ḥaḍrat-i-ʻAbduʼl-Bahá, p. 55 (passage no. 54).
He is God
O God! The darkness of discord, slaughter, and strife among the religions, peoples, and kindreds hath obscured the horizon of truth. The world is in need of the light of guidance. Grant, then, O Providence, a bounty that will cause the Sun of Truth to illumine the earth from pole to pole.
