What follows is my provisional translation (in other words, not official or authorized; see here for more) of a prayer of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, the original text of which has been published in Majmúʻiy-i-Munáját-há: Ḥaḍrat-i-ʻAbduʼl-Bahá, p. 442 (selection no. 395).
He is God
O Thou the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful! Bestow a heart like unto a clear and spotless mirror, that it may be radiantly illumined with the lights of Thy love, and grant spiritual and mystical inspirations, that thereby the world of being may become even as the highest paradise.
