What follows is my provisional translation (in other words, not official or authorized; see here for more) of a prayer of ʻAbduʼl-Bahá, the original text of which is published in Majmúʻiy-i-Munáját-há: Ḥaḍrat-i-ʻAbduʼl-Bahá, p. 450 (selection no. 404).
He is the All-Glorious
O my God, may my life be a sacrifice for Thy loved ones! Shed Thou this languid blood of mine upon the ground in the way of Thy companions, and make this withered body the dust that Thy friends tread underfoot as they walk their path, O my God!
