What follows is a provisional translation (in other words, not official or authorized; see here for more) of a Tablet of ʻAbduʼl-Bahá, the original text of which is published in Amr va Khalq, vol. 3, p. 150.
O sincere servant of God! There is, in the divine realm, no light more radiant than the light of truthfulness. This bounty so adorneth one’s reality as to conceal all one’s sins. When the candle of truthfulness is lit in the home of one’s heart, all one’s limbs and members, one’s powers and morals, shall shine brilliantly therefrom like unto the glass of a lamp.
Upon thee be salutations and praise.
