What follows is my provisional translation (in other words, not official or authorized; see here for more) of a Tablet of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, the original text of which has been published in Bisháratu’n-Núr, p. 105.
He is God!
O Thou Bountiful and Loving Lord! A handmaid of Thine hath—in the utmost submissiveness and humility, in profound helplessness and lamentation, in ardent supplication and restlessness—returned unto the threshold of Thy grandeur and sought refuge with Thee. That which beseemeth Thy Lordship are forgiveness and bestowal, pardon and remission. O Lord! Withhold not Thy clemency and absolution, and be Thou the Haven and Shelter of this suppliant. Deliver her from the maelstrom of sin and grant her asylum in the precincts of Thy supreme mercy. Vouchsafe unto her Thy favors and bestow upon her Thy gifts. Admit her into the banquet of Thy splendor, and cause her to attain unto that gathering where Thy presence can be seen. Thou art, verily, the All-Forgiving, the All-Merciful, the All-Loving.
A typescript of the original Persian text of this Tablet appears below (all punctuation and short vowel marks mine).
