What follows is my provisional translation (in other words, not official or authorized; see here for more) of a Tablet of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, the original text of which has been published in Ṣadrí Navvábzádih Ardakání (ed. Vahid Rafati), Amr-i-Bahá’í dar Ardakán, p. 231. I am grateful to Peyman Amoui, the grandson of Sárih Khánum and great-grandson of Áqá Ḥakím Faraju’lláh Káshání, for providing this facsimile of the original Tablet. For another Tablet of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá to the descendants of Ḥakím Faraju’lláh, see here.
Care of Jináb-i-Amín [i.e., Ḥájí Amín]
To Áqá Ya‘qúb, Áqá ‘Azízu’lláh, Áqá Mihdí, Sárih, and Maryam, descendants of the late Áqá Ḥakím Faraju’lláh Káshání—upon them be the Glory of God, the Most Glorious!
He is God!
O scions of that august personage! Thy noble house and lineage, as a result of the faith and certitude of Ḥakím [Faraju’lláh], abide in the sheltering protection of the generous Lord. Thus hath the Sun of Truth cast upon thy family the ray of eternal glory, and ere long shall ye hear, by virtue of its connection with the Blessed Threshold, a resonant voice reverberating throughout the world. This is a bounty specially conferred by the Lord of the Covenant upon whomsoever He pleaseth, and those who are shut out therefrom shall have neither portion nor share.
O God, my God! These are they who implore forgiveness for their illustrious father and their mother who, with a tender and pure heart, nourished them at the breast of loving-kindness. O Lord! Forgive them both and pardon them. Make of them two brilliant stars shining above the horizon of Thy clemency, and two radiant lights gleaming within the glass of Thy forgiveness and pardon. Verily Thou art the Gracious; verily Thou art the Great; verily Thou art the Most Merciful, the Ever-Forgiving.
A typescript of the original Persian and Arabic text of this Tablet appears below (all punctuation and short vowel marks mine).
