Words of Praise by Abdu’l-Baha for the Baha’i Women of Yazd

What follows is my provisional translation (in other words, not official or authorized; see here for more) of a passage from a Tablet of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, the original text of which appears in Makátíb-i-Ḥaḍrat-i-‘Abdu’l-Bahá, vol. 4, p. 45.

. . . As to the handmaids of the Merciful in Yazd, it can truly be said that they have done whatever is within the power of women to accomplish. I have been and continue to be pleased with them to the utmost . . .

. . . امّا اماءالرّحمن در يزد فی الحقيقه آنچه در قوّۀ نساء بود مبذول داشتند من از آنان نهايت رضايت را داشته و دارم . . .
