What follows is my provisional translation (in other words, not official or authorized; see here for more) of a passage from a Tablet of Bahá’u’lláh, the original text of which is available on the Bahá’í Reference Library here. According to that authenticated typescript of the Tablet, this Tablet was revealed for Ḥájí Amín on Sha‘bán 1304 AH, roughly corresponding to April–May 1887.
In this Day, the Light hath lifted up its voice in proclamation, and the Mount announceth its glad-tidings. The fruits are calling out, “O trees! This is the day of rejoicing, the day of gladness and delight, for the Beloved is manifest and visible.” How wondrous is the ecstasy that hath seized the world! How wondrous the rapture among the Concourse on high! The feast of jubilation hath been outspread to the utmost. Blessed is the tongue that maketh mention of Him, and the ear that hath hearkened to the melodies sung by all things. O ye that are endowed with hearing! The birds of the Most Exalted Paradise are warbling. O ye that are possessed of sight! The splendors of the Most Great Name are evident. Deprive not yourselves thereof; know ye the value of these days.
